Before and Awesome

A series of doodles I did over photos of me and my friends just for fun.

Nihon Journey - Travel blog
A friend and I travelled around Japan for 6 weeks in the summer of 2009, so I made this blog for us to document the trip. I mainly used Photoshop to create this and rewrote this theme by hand.
The blog became too much of a challenge to maintain on a daily or even weekly basis, so we unfortunately abandoned it halfway through the trip. We intend to go back and add all our photos and videos, just to stand as a personal record of the time we had.

Workspace

My first Flash movie. I made this around 2 years ago for a college project. We were given the audio (a piece of Japanese turntablism) and had to make visuals for it. I originally had a much more complex idea, but for but for fear of over complicating things resorted to a photograph of my desk for the background, and a Transformers’ legs and the head of Zorak from Space Ghost for the character. The result turned out much better than I expected, and more enjoyable to make too. I was a massive Toy Story fan as a kid, and love the idea of stuff on my desk coming to life.
